COL JIMMIE "PAT" BROOKS, Vice Commander
Colonel Jimmie “Pat” Brooks is the Vice Commander of the 908th Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. He assists the wing commander in directing operations and activities of approximately 1,200 people who represent the wing headquarters and 11 subordinate units. The wing provides worldwide movement of high priority personnel and cargo. Missions range from local pilot proficiency training, aeromedical evacuation and worldwide strategic airlift, to night-vision goggle, low-level, short-field assault operations and formation airdrop.

Colonel Donald W. Richey is the Commander of the 908th Operations Group at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He leads a team of over 250 Airmen providing tactical airlift, aeromedical evacuation, and control eight C-130 aircraft. He is an Air Reserve Technician (ART), which is a full-time federal civil service employee serving in a selected position within a military unit.

Colonel George Valentine is the commander of the 908th Aeromedical Staging Squadron at the 908th Airlift Wing, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. As the wing’s senior healthcare executive, his primary responsibility is maintaining the unit’s health, wellness, and medical readiness for ongoing and future deployments. As squadron commander, he is responsible for ensuring all medical personnel assigned are properly trained and prepared to provide critical medical support for all contingency operations.

COL PATRICIA A. BREWER, MSG Commander
Colonel Patricia A. Brewer is Commander, 908th Mission Support Group, 908th Airlift Wing, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. She is responsible for ensuring the readiness of all support missions, including aerial port, civil engineering, security forces, logistics readiness, communications and force support to meet command tasking and augmentee requirements worldwide. Colonel Brewer is in charge of more than 500 Citizen Airmen whose mission is to provide peacetime and wartime mission-readiness support of the wing's 1,200 Reservists.
