BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- To maximize Total Force medical readiness, the Air Force goal is to immunize no less than 90 percent of all Active and Reserve Component (RC) personnel by Dec.15, 2019, in accordance with DHA-IPM-19-006, 29 Aug 2019, page 17.
Air Force personnel who are required to receive the flu vaccine became due (yellow) in the Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS) effective Sept. 1, 2019, and will become overdue (red) on Dec. 15, 2019.
This is a change from previous years when members could obtain the vaccination up until the end of the calendar year before reflecting overdue in ASIMS. Overdue Influenza may affect military participation for RC personnel. If you have any questions regarding this IMR requirement, please contact your nearest medical group.
If you have completed your Influenza requirement through a civilian source, please submit that documentation to your military medical provider so your records can be updated. If you have completed your Influenza requirement through a DoD source the update will be automatic. No further action should be required.
