ARPC announces CY19 Reserve Colonel Promotion Board Results

Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2019 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 190 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC Oct. 21-25, 2019, to determine those officers best and fully qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 192 of 1,531 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were:  Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps, Biomedical Sciences Corps, Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates.

Participating Reserve
- 85 Line officers selected from  362 considered for a 23 percent selection rate.
- Three Chaplain officers selected from five considered for a 60 percent selection rate.
- Two DC officers selected from nine considered for a 22 percent selection rate.
- Three LAF-J officers selected from 18 considered for a 17 percent selection rate.
- Seven MC officers selected from 28 considered for a 25 percent selection rate.
- Five NC officers selected from 34 considered for a 15 percent selection rate.
- Four MSC officers selected from 16 considered for a 25 percent selection rate.
- Three BSC officers selected from 11 considered for a 27 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No Line officers selected from three considered
- No Chaplain officers considere.
- No DC officers considered
- No LAF-J officers selected from one considered
- Three MC officers selected from 12 considered for a 25 percent selection rate
- No NC officers selected from two considered.
- One MSC officer selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
- No BSC officers selected from one considered.
