Alabama unit celebrates Air Force Reserve 60th birthday, pays tribute to country music legend Hank Williams

To recognize where the Air Force Reserve has come from and where they're going, the oldest and youngest member of the 908th Airlift Wing, Lt. Col. Carl Poteat and Airman Tony Dinofrio, cut a cake with the seal of the Air Force Reserve Command painted in icing at Maxwell AFB, Ala., April 5. Along with celebrating the Air Force Reserve's diamond anniversary, the Montgomery, Ala.-based 908th AW honored Hank Williams by changing the unit's C-130 cargo planes' radio call sign to "Hank" and painting "Ramblin' Man" over the door of one of the aircraft.
