Wing Airmen provide aid at Tuskegee Airmen National Historic site dedication
Ala. Gov. Bob Riley, at the podium, and Ala. Sen. Jeff Sessions were among the dignitaries speaking during the grand opening celebration that kicked off three days of events honoring the Tuskegee Airmen Oct. 10-12. Other dignitaries included Deputy Secretary of the Interior Lynn Scarlett; retired Lt. General Russell C. Davis, president, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.; Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, president, Tuskegee University; and Johnny Ford, mayor, Tuskegee, Ala.; David Vela, southeast regional director, National Park Service; and Catherine Light, superintendent, Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
