Wing Airmen provide aid at Tuskegee Airmen National Historic site dedication

D'Wayne Guice lend assistance to an original Tuskegee Airman preparing to gain entrance to the grand opening activities for the dedication of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site at Moton Field in Tuskegee, Ala. Oct. 10. Sergeants Haney, Jackson, Guice, and 23 other 908th AW from nearby Maxwell AFB serving as escorts provided assistance to 300 or so surviving Tuskegee Airmen who attended the ceremony. The famed black aviators Airmen overcame segregation and prejudice to become one of the most highly respected fighter groups of World War II.
